Unn hazaro ke Naam.....

A Short movie on the events of 26/11/2008.....excellently made. I m speechless after watching it.... I am feeling the agony of the people and feeling helpless...

Went to India Gate to light the candle to pay my respect to the families and people wom they left behind. But is this candle vigil gonna help anybody, No.

God has given me life not once but twice, I wish some of the victims wer as lucky as me.

We as Indians follow "koi nahi, jo ho gaya usse jaane de", this makes us careless, because of this attitude we do not learn from our own mistakes or from our surroundings and carry on with the same life we wer living before. Its true that such events should not break us but make us more stronger, n we must bring about a change, rather than saying what can we do or what we could have done.

As charity begins at home, likewise change can be brought about wen we decide to change.

Today I pledge, that I would surely do something better with my second chance and take up some cause and ring about a difference in somebody's life.

  1. You know its been 45 mins the movie got over, and trust me,I still have goosebumps. Since then I am in a trance, I dont know what to do, how to react....I never expected it to leave such a lasting impact on me. This was just a movie, a small glimpse of the plight the people faced that day,but what would have happened that day on ground zero is beyond our imaginations. The police forces did a commendable job and truly speaking no tribute is ostensible enough to salute those brave hearts. Whatever happened in the Lok Sabha this morning left me abashed. It was shocking to see our politicians getting pugnacious over this issue. Their derogatory behaviour left me ambivalent. I felt as if this blame game would never come to an end. But then a thought struck me....is it all never going to stop??? And well, I got the answer myself- it will....there will be end to this carnage, but only if we take the onus of ending it. It is said that ignorance is bliss, but till when. Someday we have to get up and act. This callous attitude can lead us nowhere. Its time we get together and work for ourselves, not just for our present but for a secure future as well. The only way we can pay an obeisance to all those who lost their lives on 26/11 and otherwise, is by taking care that whatever happened that day is never ever repeated in the world history. Lets stand united and fight it!

  2. I agree to whatever u said....i was crying all through the movie was running......I wanna fight it as you said, but how is the biggest question.

You can not change the politicians at all...i feel these ppl let their personal benefits & greed take over their hearts and emotions.

We should all stand united...lets make a begining with u and me. Let me know of wht you think or shud we do to start right this very moment to make sure that it never happens again cos at the end of the day innocent ppl are the one who are hurt and at loss.

  4. Its great to see such a positive and encouraging response. We definitely should think about something.....and something concrete. Lets think of something first as to what we can do and what actually can bring a change....and then lets try to congregate as many people as possible.
